Trust you

I’m waiting for you to show me you can change. To make me believe I can trust you with my heart.
Really I just want to get away from these horrible pictures, and escape to somewhere I know I’ll be happy.
I’m wasting all this time hoping you’ll be different. The crashing of these thoughts weighs me down day after day.
So until then I’m leaving myself to change, No longer with my help. I’m done sitting by, I’m ready to live and love.

RebornIt’s that time of year Where all things begin. They begin to grow And begin to love.
It’s a time where colours are abound and the smiles are continuous, the love is free flowing and warm.
The barbecue is fired up and the gatherings begin. Laughs are shared and hugs are given.

Turn off the lightsTurn the lights off I’m going under. Sick of being angry and bored of feeling numb.
Don’t call me at home, No one will answer. A living cancer This life slowly kills it’s owner.
Broken souls wander Amongst the decaying. Like a cavity, We’re slowly being eaten.
Turn off the lights I’m going under. Worn, torn and overused. The switch gets turned off.

In a forgotten fieldIn a forgotten field A flower grows. In a forgotten heart An aching dwells.
Dancing to the rhythm Of the wind. Pounding to the pumping Of a life source.
An open mind The flower olds. A hard shell by which
The heart is surrounded.
As it’s time draws near The flower’s mind slowly closes. And it’s not-so-there casing Is apparently present.
As the wounds heal The heart grows stronger. And it’s shell
Slowly diminishes.

Hello fellow deviants! It certainly has been a while since I've been up and about on this sight. School has kept me rather busy lately, which is the reason to my absence. I have over 100 deviantions awaiting for me in my mailbox and since there are so many I'm most likely going to delete over 50% of them. So if there are any that you would like me to see, just leave a comment telling me which ones

As soon as my exams are over and summer break has officially begun for me, I will be much more active again and hopefully have new poems to show you guys! <3
